Brightheart Appreciation

Our eyes met in a silent agreement. His eyes reflecting on mine. With stealth and precision, we ran. until we reached our destination.I remember his last words to me, "i love you". I never returned those words, or never has the chance really. Their growls rung in our ears, pain slicked our bodies. I felt one pick me up by the head. In immense pain, I closed my eyes. I heard him yowl for me. I opened my eyes once again to see him fighting the one that got me, it grabbed his neck, and his neck broke. My heart broke with it. My last words as i fell from the world were "I love you too"
